DIDC

Ballet built on strong foundations.

Ballet is the backbone of nearly every dance style, and at DIDC it anchors our training from the very first class. Dancers learn alignment, turnout, musicality, and the discipline that carries into jazz, contemporary, and everything else they'll ever dance.

Our youngest dancers meet ballet inside Creative Movements and combo classes, where technique is wrapped in games and imagery. From age 7, Academy dancers train in dedicated ballet classes by level — and those who are ready can progress into Pre-Pointe and Pointe work.

Questions parents ask

Ballet FAQ.

What age can my child start ballet at DIDC?

Ballet foundations start at age 3 in our Creative Movements classes, move into Ballet/Jazz/Tap combo classes at ages 5–6, and continue in dedicated Academy ballet classes from age 7 up.

Do you offer Pointe classes in Moreno Valley?

Yes. Academy dancers progress from Ballet into Pre-Pointe, then Pointe, once their strength and technique are ready — our instructors guide that transition individually.

Can my dancer try a ballet class before enrolling?

Absolutely. Trial classes are available — call or text (951) 419-4910 or send us a message and we'll match your dancer with the right level.

Does ballet help with other dance styles?

More than any other class. The alignment, control, and vocabulary from ballet show up directly in jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and even acro — it's why we treat it as the core of serious training.
