CREATE is our annual dance concert — the highlight of the year for dancers, families, and staff alike. Every dancer at Dancing Images takes the stage of a professional theater to perform the piece their teacher choreographed, with the chance to shine in additional numbers across the show.
It's the moment a full year of training comes to life under real stage lights. Registration for CREATE opens each September, our staff begin teaching the choreography in January, and the curtain rises in June — a full-length celebration of how far every dancer has come.

What is CREATE?
CREATE is Dancing Images Dance Center's annual dance concert. Every dancer performs the routine their teacher choreographed on a professional theater stage, and many take part in additional pieces throughout the show.
When is the CREATE concert held?
CREATE takes the stage each June. Registration opens the previous September, and teachers begin setting choreography in class in January — so dancers have months to prepare.
Who can perform in CREATE?
Every enrolled DIDC dancer is invited to perform, from our Tiny Tots and Creative Movements classes through Academy and the All-Star Competition Team. Registration opens each September.
Is CREATE the same as a dance recital?
It's our version of one — a full annual concert staged in a professional theater. Rather than a simple studio showcase, CREATE is a produced performance that celebrates a full year of training.
